Reiki is the movement of energy within the body that is moved through the practitioners palms to the client whether in person or long distance. It is a transfer of energy to promote balance and healing throughout your body and chakras. Chakras are situated along your body and each chakra represents your wellbeing in that area (mind, body and spirit).

There are 7 main chakras:

Crown Chakra- Connects you to your spirituality

Third Eye Chakra- Links you to your awareness, wisdom and knowledge

Throat Chakra- A center of communication and emotions (Speaking your truth)

Heart Chakra- Self worth, self love, compassion

Solar Plexus Chakra- Intuition, gut feeling, self respect, your self discipline

Sacral Chakra- Sexual organs, kidneys, pleasure and enjoyment of life, emotions

Root Chakra- Self confidence, grounding your energy, gives energy

One of the tools used to balance your chakras is through the use of reiki and tuning forks. Tuning forks an instrument that have different hertz for each chakra, there are 7 different tuning forks that are used for your chakras. Crystals can also be used during reiki healing sessions to balance your chakras with the energy they hold. Some of the common crystals used for the chakras are:

Third Eye Chakra- Lapis lazuli, Sodalite, Moonstone

Throat Chakra- Blue Lace Agate, Chrysocolla, Apatite
